Jefferson White Joins Season 2 of CBS Hit Series "Marshals" in Recurring Role as Jimmy Hurdstrom

Critically acclaimed actor Jefferson White (YELLOWSTONE, “The Americans,” “House of Cards”) joins the upcoming second season of the hit series MARSHALS in a recurring role.

White will reprise his role as fan-favorite Jimmy Hurdstrom, a good-hearted yet rough-around-the-edges ranch hand who evolved from a troubled criminal into a resilient, proud cowboy.

“I’m thrilled to dive into the world of MARSHALS and continue exploring the American West,” said White. “The cast and crew are stacked full of my favorite actors and filmmakers, and I’m honored to join them. Jimmy and I have been through a lot together and I can’t wait to see what’s next for us.”

MARSHALS stars Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton as he joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the second season of MARSHALS will premiere Sunday, Oct. 4 (7:30-8:30 PM, CT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.

Season one of MARSHALS averaged 19.3 million L+35 multiplatform viewers per episode, becoming the #1 new series on television.*

MARSHALS is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Spencer Hudnut, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Freidman, Luke Grimes and Keith Cox. Hudnut also serves as showrunner for the series.

Jefferson White Bio: Jefferson White is best known for his breakout role as Jimmy Hurdstrom in Paramount Network’s YELLOWSTONE. On television, he can also be seen in “The Alienist,” “House of Cards,” “Manhattan,” “The Americans,” ELEMENTARY, BLUE BLOODS and “How to Get Away with Murder.”

In film, White most recently starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in “Civil War,” and Anne Hathaway in “Eileen.” White will next star as Harvey Lee Oswald in “November 1963,” in “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” and in “Rambo” opposite Noah Centino. Trained at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, White’s theater credits include “Long Day’s Journey Into Night,” “The Whipping Man,” “The Shape of Things” and “Macbeth.”
