In August 1975, Roger and M.A. "Chic" LeBlanc partnered to open the doors of Chic LeBlanc's Appliances. We operated as a Whirlpool Appliance dealer in an old bookstore behind McNeese State University. Soon after we opened, RCA joined our product line.
By 1980 we had outgrown the bookstore and moved into a new 6000 sq.ft. facility at 3601 Common Street. The new building was twice the size of the bookstore and allowed us to expand our product line even more.
In 1983 we expanded the building to 9000 sq.ft. to accommodate our growing product line and sales volume.
To better serve our customers, we opened our own on-site Service Department in 1986.
In 1992, Chic LeBlanc Appliances merged with Carl's Audio, Video, and became C & C Audio, Video & Appliance. We moved to an 11,000 sq. ft. facility located at 3426 Ryan Street.
By 2000, C & C Audio, Video & Appliance had become the largest independent appliance and TV dealer with the only on-site TV and appliance service department in Southwest Louisiana.
In 2001 as volume and manufacturer's lines increased, the need for a new larger facility was met with a 14,000 sq. ft. building located at 2335 E. McNeese Street. The new facility was so successful that a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse addition was added in 2002.
With continued success, and the $11 Billion Dollar buying power of the Nationwide Buying Group, in 2008 C & C added an additional 15,000 sq. ft. warehouse to maximize our ability to compete with our largest competitors.
Today, C & C Audio, Video and Appliances, has more than 25 employees, including 7 expert salespeople, 8 factory trained technicians, and a helpful office staff. We have 3 delivery trucks and 4 service trucks that run 6 days per week. Many of our employees have been with us for well over a decade and have become more like family than employees. If you have visited our store you know that our service is unmatched. If you haven't come by we hope you will stop in soon to experience the level of service and expertise that our staff offers.
All of this is thanks in total to our wonderful customers and God's Blessings. Today we stand on the same principles that were established on the day we opened our doors in 1975:
Quality Products, Reasonable Prices, and Service Before and After the Sale. And, we never forget that "We Do Appreciate your Business!"
