Bravo for Broadway promises an unforgettable evening with your Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra and “The Three Divas of Broadway,” featuring an extraordinary lineup of stars:
· Alli Mauzey: Known for her dazzling performances in Hairspray, Hello Dolly, and, most famously, as Glinda in Wicked.
· Scarlett Strallen: A shining talent who graced the stage in Singing in the Rain, ABBA, A Chorus Line, and captivated audiences as Mary Poppins herself.
· Dee Roscioli: Renowned for her powerful roles in Chicago, Evita, and as Elphaba in Wicked.

Your Lake Charles Symphony will open the program with the vibrantly orchestrated Huapango (1941) by Jose' Pablo Moncayo, a work bursting with color and energy. The evening continues with a thrilling second half featuring selections from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story. Both pieces spotlight an expanded rhythm section, drawing richly on the dynamic power of percussion, the brilliance of trumpets, and the shimmering textures of harp – promising a night of bold sound and irresistible rhythm.
