Lake Charles Local Receives 5th Grammy Nomination

Sean Ardoin is now a Five-Time Grammy-nominated Creole and Zydeco musician and singer. His most recent nomination announcement was made on Friday, November 8, via a livestream event announcing all nominees for "The 67th Annual Grammy Awards®." As the only peer-voted music award, the GRAMMY Awards® are selected by the Recording Academy®’s voting membership body of music makers. This year's nomination is for 25 Back To My Roots-Sean Ardoin And Kreole Rock And Soul in the category of Best Regional Roots Music Album. Ardoin's last nomination came in 2023 for his album Full Circle, with Kreole Rock & Soul and the Golden Band from Tigerland, in the same category. Best Regional Roots Music Album encompasses albums containing greater than 75% playing time of new vocal or instrumental regional roots music recordings.
