2024 SWLA Out of the Darkness Walk

The 2024 SWLA Out of the Darkness Walk was Saturday, September 14th at the Burton Coliseum Complex in Lake Charles. This annual walk benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and this year over 900 walkers registered! CBS Lake Charles is a proud sponsor of the walk, and our very own Kelsey Swire spent the morning hanging out with walkers as the event's emcee.
The Louisiana Chapter for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. The foundation is not a crisis line, if you are in crisis call 1-800-273-8255.
