Get ready for an exciting week as the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show THE TALK takes over Las Vegas during Super Bowl LVIII week. From Feb. 5 through Feb. 9, the show’s hosts (Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell and Sheryl Underwood) will be checking in from different locations around town, bringing viewers all the action direct from The Strip in Las Vegas. THE TALK will remain live from Los Angeles with big name in-studio guests intermixed with Super Bowl LVIII content and on location interviews with a different host each day of the week remote from Las Vegas. THE TALK airs weekdays (1:00 PM, Central on CBS Lake Charles, and streaming live on Paramount+ (live for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand on Pluto TV and CBS.com the day after the show airs)*.
The week kicks off with host Natalie Morales taking a leap of faith, literally, as she jumps 856 feet into open air above the Vegas strip at speeds topping 40 mph. The thrilling adventure takes place at The Strat’s SkyJump, where Morales is welcomed by Mr. Las Vegas, Wayne Newton, accompanied by showgirls as she touches down on the landing pad. On Tuesday, Feb. 6, THE TALK will feature a special segment with host Jerry O’Connell getting “queened up” with some of his friends from “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!” O’Connell may even show up on stage at the Flamingo Las Vegas show.
Mid-week host Sheryl Underwood will meet up with stars Cedric the Entertainer and Tichinia Arnold (CBS’ THE NEIGHBORHOOD) for a live interview on location in Vegas to chat about hosting the one-hour music special THE SUPER BOWL LVIII SOULFUL CELEBRATION 25TH ANNIVERSARY airing on CBS.
Later in the week, host Akbar Gbajabiamila will be in Las Vegas to talk one-on-one with Super Bowl LVIII halftime performer, multiple GRAMMY Award-winning artist USHER. He will also interview pre-game performer GRAMMY-winning artist Andra Day who will sing the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Then, in an unprecedented move, THE TALK cameras will have exclusive access to record inside Criss Angel’s show, MINDFREAK, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Angel performs his famous signature illusion (the fastest illusion in magic) with host Amanda Kloots, marking the first time he’s performed with someone other than his cast member, Tatiana Malyarov. In addition, Kloots sits down for an intimate conversation with Angel, the world’s most successful magician.
