When you purchase a ticket to Lighting of the Oak, you're not just signing up for a night of fun—you’re making a meaningful impact on our community. The funds raised directly support our operating budget, which provides year-round programming.

From Art Under the Oak, a family-friendly event featuring local artists in a free, open-air market, to Art in the Park, a monthly series of free art lessons in partnership with The City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative, we strive to offer enriching experiences for all.

This year also marked the second installment of our Residency at the Museum program, which fosters a creative incubator space for three artists by providing time, space, and financial support to further their artistic endeavors.

Every ticket helps support our mission to promote the unique culture and heritage of the region by supporting the arts, preserving history, and offering educational opportunities.
