FIRST ANNUAL HEART WARRIORS BLACK POT COOK-OFF! Get ready for a day full of delicious Cajun cooking, family fun, music, and community coming together for a GREAT cause! Join us as we bring Southwest Louisiana together to support Daxton’s Heart Warriors, helping children and families affected by congenital heart disease (CHD). November 7, 7903 Lake Street, Lake Charles, LA 70605  Calling all cooks! Gather your team, fire up those black pots, and show us what you’ve got! Team entry is just $100. Tasting tickets: $10, Kids 10 and under: FREE  Bounce houses, vendors, music, great food, and family fun! Every dollar raised helps us continue our mission of supporting children and families in Southwest Louisiana facing the challenges of congenital heart disease. This mission is personal to us. Our own little warrior, Daxton, was born with congenital heart disease, and now he is fighting his own battle while waiting for a heart transplant. We know firsthand how difficult this journey can be, and we want to make sure other families know they aren’t fighting alone.
