Go Fly a Kite!

Come out to the all-new Children's Museum of SWLA and join the Bryce River Foundation in a morning of crafting, community, sunshine and fresh air!

100 DIY kite kits will be provided at no cost. You will have time to design, decorate and assemble your kite in the museum lobby before going outside at 11:30 to see your creation take flight! You are also welcome to bring your own kite and fly with us. There is no cost to join us or for the kite kits.

There is an additional cost for admission to the children's museum or the nature & science center if you wish to visit those areas.

Building social connections, exercise and sunshine are all evidence-based strategies for improving one's mental wellness. We hope you'll take a break from your schedule and make your mental health a priority. We will also have resources and tools for parents.
