The Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer Walk of WCCH 2025 was Saturday, October 18, on the front lawn of the Lake Charles Event Center.
Over two decades ago, Ethel Precht had a vision: to create a local walk event that would raise funds and provide vital financial support to individuals in Calcasieu and Cameron parishes undergoing breast cancer treatment. This vision, fueled by Ethel’s unwavering passion, has transformed the annual breast cancer walk into one of the most significant community events dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
