SOWELA Spring 2026 Registration Opens October 27

Registration for SOWELA Technical Community College’s Spring 2026 semester opens Monday, October 27. Prospective students can enroll in any of SOWELA’s programs offered across four Southwest Louisiana locations.

 

SOWELA currently offers online, hybrid and in-person options depending on course availability and requirements. Its Main Campus is in Lake Charles with sites in Jennings, Oakdale and Leesville. Students are encouraged to register early for the best scheduling options, as classes tend to fill quickly. Spring courses begin on Monday, January 12.

 

New students can apply at www.sowela.edu/apply. Scholarships and financial aid are available, and students are encouraged to complete their 2025-2026 FAFSA and a SOWELA scholarship application to determine eligibility at www.sowela.edu/scholarships.
