Ride Towards Tomorrow is a Bryce River Foundation Event to raise money in support of suicide prevention. This year's ride was held Saturday, August 16, 2025, and was the second one hosted by the foundation. Participants chose from a 50-mile advanced route, 27-mile intermediate route, 6-mile family ride and a 6-mile Ruck, which was a new addition for this year.
The foundation's namesake, River, fostered a love of cycling and bike repair so hosting a bike ride to support the foundation just seemed to make sense. Cycling was a coping mechanism for his depression, and it served him well over the years. 100% of the proceeds from the ride went to the foundation and will stay local, helping to further their mission to reduce and prevent suicide. They offer suicide prevention training, connect people with resources and support other organizations in the community already doing good work in the mental health space.
