6:00 PM Red, White & Boom - A Family Fourth


This year's celebration will be at a new location, the Moss Bluff Rec Baseball Fields (1180 Don Manuel Blvd.) The evening will be filled with music, games, food and fireworks! Be sure to bring your lawn chairs.


6:00 PM Fireworks at Trinity Baptist Church


FREE ADMISSION Celebrate the fourth a day early with fireworks, food trucks, live jazz, water fun jumps, lawn games, and plenty of space to kick back under the stars!

→ Food trucks with dinner and dessert
→ Water fun jumps for the kiddos + lawn games for all ages

→ Cornhole tournament (sign up at the Info Station)

What to bring: chairs, blankets, coolers (non-alcoholic), towels for the kids, sunscreen, and maybe a pop-up tent for shade (please make sure to take it down by dusk so everyone can see the fireworks). Free parking onsite, Stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, Sorry, no pets.


7:00 PM Bayou Youth Sports Night with the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators - Free Admission


Admission is free, courtesy of Visit Lake Charles, as we celebrate our local youth sports community with a fun-filled night at the ballpark.

All youth sports teams are invited to take part in a special on-field parade prior to the game. Teams should arrive early to be part of the pregame festivities. Gates open early. Parade begins approximately 30 minutes before first pitch.

It’s also Thirsty Thursday, featuring $3 Margaritas throughout the night.

The 2nd annual 4th of July special brunch event at The Village Coffeehouse.

• Waffle Breakfast sandwiches and waffle bar, where we will serve waffles and you can enjoy a lovely topping bar to add the extra flavor to your waffles!

10 AM Painting with a Twist - Happy 4th of July Paint & Sip

Painting with a Twist will walk you step-by-step through the featured painting—no experience necessary. Just bring your favorite drinks, snacks, and some patriotic spirit! Seats are limited, so grab your spot and let’s celebrate Independence Day with a twist!

The City of Lake Charles presents its annual Red, White, Blue & You Celebration, a FREE family-friendly event filled with all-day activities. Fill the Arcade Amphitheater with lawn chairs and blankets for a patriotic concert, Armed Forces Salute, food trucks, live music entertainment, and a fireworks finale over the lake.

Festival goers can enjoy some of Lake Charles’ favorite food trucks, lemonade stands, and ice cream trucks. The Mayor's Armed Forces Commission Queens will be selling festival t-shirts. Spectators are encouraged to bring their blankets, lawn chairs, and ice chests, but glass is strictly prohibited. If inclement weather prevails, the program will be moved to the Event Center Coliseum.

7:00 PM Salute to Service Night with the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators - Free Admission

This Independence Day, baseball takes center stage at The Jeaux as we proudly host Salute to Service Night (presented by Visit Lake Charles)—honoring the military and first responders who keep our nation safe and strong. It’s America’s Game on the Fourth of July, and we’re doing it big!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of VSG Architects, ALL FANS GET IN FREE—because freedom, community, and baseball belong together. And since it’s Fan-Tastic Friday, we’re adding even more fun with $3 tacos and your shot at the Fan Prize Wheel, loaded with giveaways and surprises all night long.
