2025 CBS Lake Charles Regional Spelling Bee - Full Competition Broadcast

The 2025 CBS Lake Charles Regional Spelling Bee competition took place on Saturday, February 22 at Southlake Theater in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
CBS Lake Charles is the Official Regional Partner of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. 2025 is our third year to host a regional bee for students from across SWLA to compete for the chance to participate on the national level. This year, 19 students gathered in hopes of claiming that opportunity.
James Granger, a 6th grader at Pine Wood Elementary School, took home the 2025 CBS Lake Charles Regional Spelling Bee trophy and is currently making plans to attend the Scripps National Spelling Bee in National Harbor, Maryland in May!
