CBS Cares: Southwest Louisiana Independence Center - SLIC

The Southwest Louisiana Independence Center, Inc. (aka SLIC), is a 501 C-3 non-profit agency, is a non-residential agency of action, advocacy and coalition where people with a disability and seniors can become empowered to develop the skills necessary to make effective lifestyle choices. They strive to support these individuals by connecting them with resources needed to live independently. Independent Living Specialist, Damien Thibodeaux, talks about some of their programs, in this segment of CBS Cares.
