CBS Sports Announces 2024 College Football Broadcast Schedule

CBS Sports’ Weeks 1-4 Schedule:
Saturday, Aug. 31 – Akron-Ohio State (3:30 PM ET), UCLA-Hawaii (7:30 PM ET)
Saturday, Sept. 7 – Iowa State-Iowa (3:30 PM ET)
Saturday, Sept. 14 – Notre Dame-Purdue (3:30 PM ET), Colorado-Colorado State (7:30 PM ET)
Saturday, Sept. 21 – USC-Michigan (3:30 PM ET)
CBS Sports has announced its 2024 college football multiplatform schedule windows of games being broadcast on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+, including its featured games for Weeks 1-4.
The schedule includes 23 games overall and begins with a doubleheader on Saturday, Aug. 31 as Ohio State hosts Akron (3:30 PM ET), followed by UCLA visiting Hawaii (7:30 PM ET). The following week will feature Iowa State-Iowa (Saturday, Sept. 7) at 3:30 PM ET from Kinnick Stadium for the annual Cy-Hawk rivalry game first contested in 1894.
A pair of in-state battles headline a Week 3 doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 14, with Colorado-Colorado State (7:30 PM ET) following the previously announced 3:30 PM ET Notre Dame-Purdue matchup. The following week (Saturday, Sept. 21) will feature the previously announced clash of college football titans, as reigning national champion Michigan hosts USC (3:30 PM ET to mark the Trojans’ inaugural Big Ten road game as a new member of the conference.
2024 marks CBS Sports’ first full season of carrying a marquee Big Ten matchup every Saturday in the Network’s traditional 3:30 PM ET window. For the first time, the Big Ten’s season will culminate on CBS with the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game in primetime on Saturday, Dec. 7, (8:00 PM ET) from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Additional broadcast schedule highlights include:
Marquee Big Ten matchups every Saturday at 3:30 PM ET, which (beginning with Week 5) will be announced as part of a six or 12-day selection process
All three Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy games: Navy-Air Force (Saturday, Oct. 5 – Noon ET), Air Force-Army (Saturday, November 2 – Noon ET) and the 125th Army-Navy Game (Saturday, Dec. 14 – 3:00 PM ET)
A post-Thanksgiving doubleheader on Friday, Nov. 29 featuring the Minnesota-Wisconsin (Noon ET) “Border Battle” for Paul Bunyan’s Axe, followed by Stanford-San Jose State at 4:00 PM ET
The 91st edition of the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, kicking off at 2:00 PM ET on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
