The First Ever Broadcast Billy Joel Concert Special

“The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden – The Greatest Arena Run of All Time” will air Sunday, April 14 at 8:00 PM on CBS Lake Charles. The Concert Celebrates Joel’s 100th Consecutive Performance in His Historic Franchise Run at the Iconic New York City Venue

17-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Sting, and comedian, writer and director Jerry Seinfeld made surprise appearances at the March 28th Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden, which was taped for the CBS broadcast special. Music icon Sting performed hits with Billy Joel, including “Big Man on Mulberry Street” and “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Emmy-winning comedian, actor, writer and director Jerry Seinfeld joined Joel on stage to raise the historic banner commemorating his unprecedented run.

Last night during the taped concert, Joel performed some of his iconic songs, including “New York State of Mind” and “Piano Man.”

  • THE 100TH: BILLY JOEL AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN – THE GREATEST ARENA RUN OF ALL TIME will air Sunday, April 14 at 8:00 on CBS Lake Charles, and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

  • This is Billy Joel’s first concert to air on a broadcast network.

  • The concert special will be shot at Joel’s record-breaking 100th consecutive performance at Madison Square Garden as part of his franchise run on March 28.

  • Joel has sold out Madison Square Garden more than any other artist. Since his first show at the venue on Dec. 14, 1978, through his final residency show this July, every single one of Joel’s concerts at Madison Square Garden has been sold out.

  • THE 100TH: BILLY JOEL AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN – THE GREATEST ARENA RUN OF ALL TIME is a co-production of Sony Music Entertainment and Enliven Entertainment.
