LSU heads back to Omaha

After a LSU Sweep of Kentucky 8-3 Sunday, the Tigers are heading back to Omaha. A solo homer by Jackson Gray for Kentucky gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first, but the Tigers roared back and scored the next 5 runs to go up 5-1. The Cats put up two more runs in the 3rd and 4th innings but it wasn't enough as the Tigers added three more insurance runs in the 9th to complete the sweep.
With the victory, LSU makes the trip back to Omaha for their 19th appearance and will face Tennessee on Saturday in the opening round.
